A Perfect Saturday in Plano: A Few Local Favorites to Explore

One of my favorite parts of real estate is helping people discover everything that comes with a new neighborhood — not just the house itself.

And Plano gives you plenty to explore.

Start your morning slowly with coffee and breakfast before heading out for a walk. Depending on the kind of day you're after, you can explore one of Plano's parks and trails or spend some time around the historic downtown area.

In the afternoon, browse local shops, stop somewhere for lunch, or explore one of the many shopping and entertainment destinations nearby.

Then finish the day over dinner with friends or family.

It's these little routines — your favorite coffee shop, your weekend walking trail, the restaurant you keep going back to — that eventually make a city feel like home.

That's something I always encourage my buyers to think about when they're deciding between different areas of North Texas:

Don't just ask yourself, “Do I like this house?” Ask, “Can I picture my life here?”

If Plano is on your list, I'd be happy to help you explore both the homes and the neighborhoods around them.
